Product Description

Angispan TR 2.5mg is a prescription treatment for angina pectoris. It contains the active ingredient nitroglycerin, which helps prevent angina pectoris due to coronary artery disease. Nitroglycerin is a nitrate that causes the blood vessels to relax, thus decreasing the heart’s oxygen demand and reducing its workload, ultimately relieving an attack of angina pectoris.

How To Use

Angispan TR 2.5 mg capsules should be expected to provide more than about 12 hours of continuous antianginal efficacy per day. You should sit down when taking this Nitroglycerin formulation and use caution when you stand up. This reduces the risk of falling due to lightness or dizziness. Your doctor may ask you to repeat the dose approximately every five minutes until the chest pain is resolved. If an angina attack persists after a total of three doses in fifteen minutes or is different than you typically experience, inform your doctor or seek immediate medical help. 

Precautions

Severe hypotension, particularly with upright posture, may occur with Angispan TR. Therefore, this medicine should be used with caution in patients who may be volume depleted or are already hypotensive. Hypotension induced by a nitroglycerin formulation may be accompanied by paradoxical bradycardia and increased angina pectoris.  

It is best to avoid Angispan TR 2.5 mg if you are allergic to the ingredient or any other nitrate medicine. Refrain from taking medicine if you are taking avanafil, sildenafil, tadalafil, or vardenafil. If you take these medicines along with Nitroglycerin, it can cause life-threatening side effects. You must not use this Nitroglycerin product if you suffer from brain injury, severe anaemia, tumour, or haemorrhage. Before using this antianginal drug, you must inform your doctor if you are suffering from low blood pressure, congestive heart failure, glaucoma, recent head injury, liver disease, frequent stomach cramping, migraine headaches, severe diarrhoea, watery stools, or a history of stroke, heart attack, or circulation issues. It is best not to use the medication without taking your doctor’s advice.

You should always inform your doctor what health conditions you have and what other medicines you are taking. It is best to avoid alcohol consumption during the treatment as it may increase the risk of side effects. If you experience dizziness associated with Nitroglycerin, avoid driving or indulging in activities that may require you to alert.

It is not yet proven if the medicine can harm an unborn baby or a nursing baby. It is recommended that you consult your doctor if the above conditions apply to you. Side Effects

You may experience dizziness while taking the drug. It is important to be careful while driving or engaging in activities that require reflexes and concentration. It is advised that you stay away from alcohol while taking the drug.

Angispan TR can lead to severe headaches each time you take medicine. However, this is not the only side effect that you may get while taking medicine. If you experience any serious side effects, it is important to seek medical attention immediately.
