Puretrig is a Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) used for years to treat fertility issues in women. HCG is also sold under the brand name Novarel injections. After finishing menotropin treatment, these injections are mainly prescribed to cause ovulation (release of the egg). The medicine is not meant to use in women whose ovaries no longer produce eggs. The condition is called primary ovarian failure.
