Supatret .04% gel 20gm is prescribed to patients with severe acne problems. It is effective in treating acne and reducing the number of pimples while healing existing pimples. Supatret gel contains Tretinoin, which comes under the class of drugs known as retinoids. Tretinoin is a form of vitamin A. When applied to the skin, it replenishes acne-affected skin and helps keep your pores open. It treats acne by clearing skin and preventing pimples and spots from appearing. It usually takes several weeks to several weeks to have a noticeable effect on the appearance of acne. It is also used in the treatment of photodamaged skin. How To Use
Follow your dermatologist’s instructions. You should not apply Supatret on damaged or broken skin. The product should be applied once daily, before bedtime, to the skin where acne lesions appear, using a thin layer to cover the entire area affected by acne. The gel formulation should be kept away from the eyes, nose, mouth, and other mucous membranes. The application of an excessive amount of gel will not provide incremental efficacy. It may take several weeks for your symptoms to improve but keep using it to get more benefits. Consult your dermatologist again if you do not see any visible signs of improvement. Sometimes acne may get worse before it gets better; however, with proper use, one may experience the most benefits from the medication.
Usage instructions:
— Rinse your skin with a mild cleanser or a non-medicated soap. Apply the gel once daily before bedtime.
— Squeeze a small amount of gel on your fingertip. Apply the solution using a thin layer to cover the affected skin area. Rub gently into your skin.
— Do not use more than your dermatologist has prescribed you. Do not use more often than your dermatologist has prescribed. Too much of this product may irritate your skin and will not give you faster results.
— You can use a facial cream of SPF 15 or higher each morning after rinsing your face. Follow your dermatologist’s advice because you need to use a cream or lotion that will make your acne worse. You may also use cosmetics with Supatret gel. However, clean your face before using cosmetics and remove cosmetics from your skin before using the gel preparation.
— Once your acne is under control, you should continue using the Tretinoin formulation as your dermatologist instructs you.
You may not see an improvement straight away. The product may work better for some patients than for others.
Precautions
Supatret may make you more sensitive to sunlight, so you should limit exposure to the sun if possible. Use a sunscreen with A SPF of 15, protective clothing, and wide-brimmed had to protect you from sun rays. Even on hazy days, treated areas should be protected when stepping outside.
