Tazret gel .05% contains the compound tazarotene, a member of the acetylenic retinoid class. It is a brand name prescription medication that treats acne and plaque psoriasis. It is for the topical purpose only. Tazarotene helps to speed up skin renewal as it is a compound formed from vitamin A. The topical medication effectively treats acne in adults and children ages 12 years and older. Dermatologists may also prescribe this gel preparation to treat plaque psoriasis in adults. You may be advised to apply the cream to your skin once daily, in the evening. Tazarotene works by stopping the overgrowth and thickening of skin cells. How To Use
