Arzep nasal spray effectively treats seasonal allergies and inflammation caused by pollens, dust, animal fur, and other allergens. It may also be useful in treating allergic rhinitis, hives, and itch associated with skin diseases. This nasal spray is prescribed for treating itchy, red, or watery noses, cold and stuffy noses. It contains the active ingredient Azelastine HCl, an anti-allergic drug given to patients with allergic conditions like itchy, red, or stuffy nose.
How To Use
Arzep is available in the form of a Nasal Spray. It should be taken through the nose. Do not spray it on your eyes or mouth. Before applying this medication, shake the bottle well, close one nostril by pressing it with your finger, keep the spray bottle upright, and slowly insert the nasal applicator into the open nostril. Press down on the pump to release the recommended number of sprays while gently breathing in through the nose. Be sure to read the instructions carefully given on your prescription.
Precautions
Before you use Arzep nasal spray, let your doctor know if you are allergic to Azelastine nasal spray, pregnant, or breastfeeding. It is unknown if Arzep nasal spray is safe and effective in children under five years of age and older with seasonal allergic rhinitis. Tell your healthcare provider about all the medicines, including vitamins and herbal supplements. Arzep and other medicines may affect each other, causing unwanted effects. Avoid alcohol consumption while using this nasal solution, as it may make your sleepiness worse.
Side Effects
The most common side effects of Arzep nasal spray include headache, nosebleeds, fatigue, dizziness, dry mouth, scratchy or sore throat, nose burning, pain or discomfort, unusual bitter taste, sleepiness, runny nose, sneezing, weight increase, inflammation or swelling of the sinuses. Inform your doctor if any side effects trouble you or don’t resolve within a few days. These are not all the possible side effects of azelastine nasal spray.
