Product Description

Voveran 50 mg contains Diclofenac sodium, and it is a pain-relieving drug. Diclofenac belongs to a class of medications known as nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). It treats severe pain and inflammation of the following conditions:

  • Rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, non-articular rheumatism, psoriatic arthropathy, painful syndrome of the vertebral column
  • Sprains, strains, bone fractures, dislocations, dental or other minor surgery
  • Acute gout
  • Back pain, tendonitis, frozen shoulder, bursitis
  • Painful menstruation

Voveran 50 mg only relieves symptoms and decreases inflammation for as long as the patient takes them. The medicine is not suitable for children. It should only be used for short term relief of pain, inflammation and swelling in conditions that affect muscles and joints.

How To Use

Take Voveran 50 mg as prescribed by the doctor to achieve the best results. Do not take more than longer than the prescribed period, as it can be dangerous. Your doctor will monitor your liver function, kidney function, and blood levels if you take the NSAID for long term treatment. Long term usage may cause serious complications such as kidney problems and stomach bleeding. The NSAID formulation may be unsafe to use during pregnancy, and there is not enough evidence that shows the risk to the developing baby. Therefore, it is best to discuss with your doctor whether you can take the medication or not.

Precautions

Voveran 50mg is contraindicated in patients with severe uncontrolled heart failure, active gastritis, peptic ulcer, bleeding disorders, history of asthma urticaria, or allergic-type reaction, inflammatory bowel disease, severe hepatic impairment,

If you suffer a heart attack, diabetes, asthma, or recovering from a stroke or heart attack, you should consume the medicine cautiously and only under the guidance of a doctor. The NSAID can have harmful effects on pregnant women, smokers, and alcoholics; hence lit should be avoided by such people. Diclofenac medicine, particularly at higher doses, is associated with an increased risk of serious cardiovascular-related adverse reactions. For patients with pre-existing risk factors for cardiovascular complications should consult their doctor before taking the medication. Those with an increased risk of developing gastrointestinal adverse reactions should also discuss receiving Voveran. Doctors usually prescribe Voveran for the shortest possible duration to minimize the risk of cardiovascular or gastrointestinal adverse events. The use of Voveran can promote sodium retention in a dose-dependent manner, resulting in increased blood pressure.

Side Effects

Tell your doctor as soon as possible if you do not feel well while receiving Voveran 50 mg. The NSAID formulation helps most people, but it may cause side effects in some people. Like any other pharmaceutical agent, Diclofenac too can cause side effects; sometimes, these effects are serious most of the time. You may need medical attention depending on the severity of the adverse effects. If you are over 65 years old, you should be especially careful while receiving NSAID therapy. Report any side effects straight to your doctor. Tell your doctor if you notice a headache, drowsiness, light-headedness, constipation, loss of appetite, diarrhoea, pain in the stomach, sleeplessness, trembling, nightmares etc.
